Special Notice

After 12 wonderful years, Joseph Brann & Susan Levesque have sadly decided to retire from organizing our annual Art Among Friends at Laurentian Lodge.  Our original plan was to have one last finale show in September 2020, however Covid-19 changed those plans for us.  So the 2019 show was our final.

We would like to thank all our awesome artists that have participated throughout the past years (many of them have become close friends to us) and to all the people who visited us each year.  Without you...our show would not have been as wonderful as it was.

A special thank you to Doug & Melanie and their staff at Laurentian Lodge for the awesome venue and location.  Thanks to Gail & Larry LaCasse, our former organizer friends. Thank you for the support of our corporate sponsors: ELNOS, Red Top Motor Inn, Cousins Country Garden Centre, ReSolution Media Group, Roland Aube Law Office & Lennon Family Chiropractic.

Joseph & Susan will miss you all.  After almost 25 years of organizing, planning and participating in shows like Art Among Friends & The Deer Trail Studio Tour...it is now time for us to take some well deserved time off.

Thank You   Joseph & Susan - Always Celebrating Art, Autumn and Friendship!

Susan Levesque

Black Creek Originals

Susan grew up in Elliot Lake and feels fortunate for the nature that surrounds her.  Having spent many of her younger years at camp with her family, she had the opportunity to see wildlife up close has inspired the images in her art.  Now it is paddling down Black Creek, just off highway 108 and the animals who visit this area that inspire her.  Susan loves to use the hard shelled gourd as a canvas, they tie in well with the nature of her art.
